Tesfa Ethiopia is a believer in every child's fundamental right to an education.

Lenchicho Primary and Secondary school, located in the small town of Lenchico, 230 km south of Addis Ababa, is home to hundreds of students from the area. As poverty levels tend to be higher in rural areas of Ethiopia, many teachers, students and staff stand low on learning materials and space.

At Tesfa, we believe all students should have the tools they need to learn and grow both inside and outside the classroom. Libraries are the heart of schools and fundamental to transforming learning. Yet, too many schools in rural areas of Ethiopia lack access to libraries that are within walking distance.

As detailed below, the cost of constructing this library will be about 2,700,000 ETB which translates to about $50,000 USD  (June 2023 Exchange Rate). with your generosity, we can equip these students with the space and materials they need to succeed!
